PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to be effectively used as a multi-functional display device by being selectively driven in a wide viewing mode, a narrow viewing mode, and a stereoscopic image mode. CONSTITUTION: A display device(10) includes an image display panel(100) and an ELC(Electric field-driven Liquid Crystal) lens panel(200). The image display panel includes multiple pixels displaying images, and is selectively driven in a wide viewing mode, a narrow viewing mode, and a stereoscopic image mode. The ELC lens panel includes a liquid crystal layer, implements an ELC lens by driving the liquid crystal layer, and adjusts the implementation area of the ELC lens according to the driving of a narrow viewing mode and a stereoscopic image mode. |
