PURPOSE: An object tracking device is provided to track an object when the size of the object is changed. CONSTITUTION: A search area setting unit(9) sets a search area of an object in a frame image of a current point. A normalization unit(10) normalizes an image of the search area of the object, which is included in the frame image with a fixed size. A matching unit(11) searches the object area which is similar to a template image among the image of the search area.
