PURPOSE: A dual needle sewing machine and an actuating member loaded on the needle bar rotating part are provided to avoid dislocation of pre-assigned location assigned by the rotation of the needle bar rotating part. CONSTITUTION: A dual needle sewing machine comprises the needle bar rotating part(15), the needle bar rotating device(30), the clutch device(50), the operational member(16), the actuator(61), and the differential transmission device(63). The needle bar rotating part supports 2 needle bars. The needle bar rotating device rotates 2 needle bars. The clutch device maintains 2 needle bars. The operational member cancels the maintenance by the clutch device. The actuator converts the location of the operational member. The differential transmission device delivers the relocating operation from the actuator to the operational member. The differential transmission device comprises the input member(631), the output member(632), the transferring member(64), and rotation supporter(65). The input member rotates as the driving force is inputted from the actuator. The output member applies the relocating operation on the operational member by the rotating motion. The transferring member delivers the reverse of the output member rotation from the input member. The rotation supporter supports the transferring member on rotation around the rotary center-line of the needle bar rotating part. The rotary motor which is the source of driving of the needle bar rotating member is installed on the sewing machine frame, and by the input of the rotating motion of the needle bar rotating member, the rotating angle which is half of the rotating angle according to the needle bar rotating member is inputted on the rotation supporter.
