<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fragrance-releasing agent which can be stably compounded regardless of the form or use of a formulation, has good storage stability, and in practical use can stably release raspberry ketone in controlled manner over a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The fragrance-releasing agent includes a silicic acid ester compound represented by formula (1): Si(OR<SP POS="POST">1</SP>)(OR<SP POS="POST">2</SP>)(OR<SP POS="POST">3</SP>)(OR<SP POS="POST">4</SP>). In the formula: R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a 1-30C alkyl or aryl group, or the like; and one of R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>is a residue obtained by removing a phenolic hydroxyl group from 4-(3-oxobutyl)phenol while two or three of the others are each a residue obtained by removing a hydroxyl group from a secondary or tertiary alcohol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
