A vibration reduction structure for a rotary compressor is provided to locate a balancing weight attached to a rotation shaft between main and sub bearings to compensate for unbalance of a compression part at a near position, thereby preventing vibration of the rotation shaft. A vibration reduction structure for a rotary compressor includes a rotation shaft(24) attached with a balancing weight(37) for compensating for unbalance caused by the rotation of an eccentric part. The balancing weight is positioned in a balancing weight cover(36), which is mounted between a cylinder(21) and a main bearing(34). The balancing weight is positioned between the main bearing and a sub bearing(33) preferably. |
