The objective of the present invention is to provide a display device, a display method, and a program capable of accurately displaying scratch operations. To solve the above problems, a display device of the present invention provides a display unit that has a disk-shaped display area, and a display controller that fixes the display of a play position image for indicating the played positions of a musical piece at an angle offset by N degrees (where N is 0 = N < 360) from the position at 0° when the lower edge of the display area is set to 0°, and revolves the display along the circumference to display the beat position image indicating each beat position when the specified number of beats in a musical piece is represented by equal divisions in one revolution in a circumferential direction to accompany the playing of the musical piece within the display area.
