PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a connector having a low rated voltage as a connector for supplying a bias voltage.

SOLUTION: A drive circuit 100 comprises an AC power source 120 and a second transformer 111 which boosts the voltage of an AC signal outputted from the AC power source. The AC signal having boosted in voltage by the second transformer 111 is supplied to a DC signal generation unit 200 included in an electrostatic speaker 1 by a first connector 140 and a second connector 141. The DC signal generation unit 200 rectifies the supplied AC signal by a diode D1 and thereafter smooths the result by a capacitor C1. The DC signal smoothed by the capacitor C1 is supplied to an oscillator 10 via a resistor R1 to apply a bias voltage to the oscillator 10.
