<p>Provided is a connector configured so that, even if a large pulling force acts on one pipe body, the one pipe body is reliably retained. This connector (10) is provided with: a housing (20) which has one end serving as a connection section (22) and the other end serving as an insertion section (24) and which is provided with slits (28, 28); and a retainer (50) which has arms (53, 53) provided with engagement sections (57) protruding from the inner sides of the arms, the retainer (50) protruding from the slits (28) to the inner peripheral side of the insertion section of the housing (20) and engaging with the flange (1a) of a first pipe body (1) to retain the first pipe body (1). A sloped contact surface is formed between each of the inner peripheral surfaces of the slits (28), the inner peripheral surfaces being located on the side which faces the direction in which the first pipe body is pulled, and each of the outer surfaces of the arms (53), the outer surfaces being located on the side which faces the direction in which the first pipe body is pulled. When a pulling force which pulls the first pipe body (1) out of the insertion section (24) acts, the sloped contact surfaces press the arms (53, 53) in the direction in which the arms (53, 53) approach each other.</p> |
