<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system which can surely control a specific household electrical appliance from an operation terminal, a household electrical appliance, an information terminal, a communication setting method, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: In a household electrical appliance 200, after connected to a network 300, a multidimensional code generating part 203 converts an IP address or the like to a multidimensional code, and a multidimensional code display part 204 displays the converted multidimensional code. In a mobile type information terminal 100, a multidimensional code reading part 104 reads the multidimensional code and a control part 103 converts the multidimensional code to the IP address or the like and accesses the household electrical appliance 200 using the converted IP address.
