<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head that can suppress influence on ink ejection caused by readily providing a dummy chamber. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet head according to one embodiment includes a base member, an orifice plate 12, and a drive element 14. The base member has a mounting surface. An ink chamber to which ink is supplied is formed between the orifice plate 12 and the base member in a manner opposed to the mounting surface. A plurality of orifices 28 are provided in the orifice plate 12. The drive element 14 is arranged in the ink chamber and attached to the mounting surface, and includes a plurality of groove-like pressure chambers 31 that are opened in the orifice 28 and both ends of which are opened to the ink chamber and a plurality of groove-like dummy chambers 32 that are covered with the orifice plate 12, both ends of which are opened to the ink chamber, and that are arranged alternately with the plurality of pressure chambers 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
