<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely suppress displacement of a power generating element in a battery housing while satisfactorily maintaining ease of battery assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A battery is constructed by storing in a battery housing BC a generating element 3 having a foil-like positive electrode plate and a foil-like negative electrode plate laminated one upon another. A sheet-like member SE at least partially having a waveform part that has recessed grooves and protrusions arranged alternately in their parallel posture is disposed in the battery housing BC. The sheet-like member SE is positionally restricted in an extension direction by allowing a front end in an arrangement direction of the recessed grooves and the protrusions to be contacted with an inner wall surface of the battery housing BC or a member continued to the inner wall surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
