<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body stop device of an opening/closing body, capable of dissolving the risk of generating deflection (stretch) in a string-like member for mechanically turning on brake means, and securing an original length of the string-like member. <P>SOLUTION: The stop device includes: brake means for stopping closing movement of a shutter curtain which is an opening/closing body moved to be open and closed in a vertical direction; a first control wire 111 on which tension acts when the shutter curtain is abutted to an obstacle during the closing movement, and which is a flexible string-like member; and an automatic closing device 32 which is a device for mechanically turning on/off the brake means, and is for stopping the closing movement of the shutter curtain by mechanically turning on the brake means when the tension acts on the wire 111. The wire 111 is provided with a deflection part 111A which is present when the brake means is in one of on or off states and is reduced or made to disappear when the brake means is turned to the other of on or off states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
