<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately measuring an amount of hydrogen penetrated into a metal including an overlapped part structure obtained by overlapping two metal plates with each other. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises: setting one side of a specimen to a surface exposed to a corrosive environment; disposing an electrochemical cell formed by a plurality of cell groups on the hydrogen detection surface side of the specimen; setting at least one cell of the cell groups to a reference cell for correcting a residual current; providing a protective film for blocking contact with the corrosive environment in a place corresponding to the hydrogen penetration surface side of the reference cell; correcting an anode current value detected in a cell except the reference cell by a residual-current value detected in the reference cell; and calculating a hydrogen amount penetrated from the corrosion surface side on the basis of the corrected anode current value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
