<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surface-treated hot-dip plated steel in which a worked part has excellent white rusting resistance, damage resistance, stain resistance and appearance while being free from any defective appearance attributable to a plating layer. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface-treated hot-dip plated steel, an aluminum-zinc alloy plating layer (α) is plated on the surface of the steel, and a film (β) which is formed of organic silicon compound (A) having an alkylene group, a siloxane bond, and a crosslinking functional group to be expressed by general formula -SiR<SP POS="POST">1</SP>R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>(R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>are described in the specification) as a film-forming component is coated on its upper layer. The aluminum-zinc alloy plating layer contains Al, Zn, Si and Mg as components, and the Al content is 25-75 mass%, and the Mg content is 0.1-10 mass%.
