<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element including a plurality of light-emitting cells electrically connected with each other, which achieve process safety, and provide a light-emitting element package and a light unit. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting element comprises: a support substrate; a first light-emitting structure 10 arranged on the support substrate and including a first semiconductor layer 11 of a first conductivity type, a first active layer 12 under the first semiconductor layer; a second semiconductor layer 13 of a second conductivity type under the first active layer; a first metal layer under the first light-emitting structure; a second light-emitting structure arranged on the support substrate and including a third semiconductor layer of the first conductivity type, a second active layer under the third semiconductor layer, a fourth semiconductor layer of the second conductivity type under the second active layer; a second metal layer under the second light-emitting structure; and a contact part contacting a lateral face of the first semiconductor layer to be electrically connected with the second metal layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
