<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: an input image is dark or reddish as a whole; and, accordingly, a corrected image is affected by a state of the input image and a skin color of a facial image is hardly viewed beautifully. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor includes: a facial image detecting section 21 for detecting a facial image in an input image; a state determining section 22 for determining a state of the input image; a color gamut changing section 23 for applying a change in response to a determination result by the state determining section 22 with respect to a color gamut preset as the color gamut corresponding to the facial image in a predetermined color system; a pixel extracting section 24 for extracting a pixel whose color belongs to the color gamut after the change by the color gamut changing section 23 out of pixels included in the facial image detected by the facial image detecting section 21; and a representative color calculating section 25 for calculating a representative color that is representative of the facial image on the basis of the pixel extracted by the pixel extracting section 24.
