<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of suppressing a failure that air bubbles adhere to the surface of a detecting member, when the detecting member is provided in a liquid container configured to introduce air into a liquid storage part through an air passage. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the liquid container including the detecting member provided in the liquid storage part for storing the liquid therein, an air inlet for supplying the air, which has been introduced from the outside of the liquid container through the air passage, into the liquid storage part is provided above the detecting member.
