PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning cartridge which can suitably clean raw water even when the water cleaning cartridge is constituted in such a way that each of a first water cleaning material and a second water cleaning material can separately be replaced, and to provide a water cleaner including the water cleaning cartridge.

SOLUTION: The water cleaning cartridge includes a communication means for communicating a space V between a first filter 115 and a second filter 128 with the outside space in such a used posture that a first water cleaning material-packed vessel 110 and a second water cleaning material-packed vessel 120 are disposed in the order in the flow direction of the raw water while the first filter 115 is opposed to the second filter 128.
