<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging device for a lighting fixture capable of effectively restraining rocking of the lighting fixture due to rocking of a building or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A displacement body 13 for hanging down a lighting fixture through a hanging cord W is made displaceably supported in a horizontal direction by a support member 12 fixed to a ceiling part C.
