<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating soil without a high-concentration acid to quickly eliminate cesium from the soil, and a soil treatment method. <P>SOLUTION: A mixed solution is prepared by mixing 0.1 g of soil (brown forest soil in Iitate, Fukushima) and 0.5 mol/l of a nitric acid aqueous solution, and left still at 95°C for 45 minutes. When the amount of the nitric acid aqueous solution is set to 10 ml, 15 ml, and 20 ml, the cesium content in the nitric acid aqueous solution is 2.58 ppb, 1.75 ppb, and 1.56 ppb respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
