<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost metallic toned dial plate which can produce metallic feeling. <P>SOLUTION: A metallic layer 72 is formed on a resin-made dial plate main body 71 by surface treatment. A front surface of the dial plate main body 71 is provided with a circular or arc-shaped second design face 71d around a rotation shaft of a pointer, and a first inwardly inclined face 71e and an outwardly inclined face 71f connected to the second design face 71d so as to rim an inside and an outside of the second design face 71d and gradually approaching a rear surface with the distance from the second design face 71d. The first inwardly inclined face 71e and the outwardly inclined face 71f are provided on a smooth face. Portions except the first inwardly inclined face 71e and the outwardly inclined face 71f are provided on a corrugated face on which a plurality of convexes and concaves are formed and having a surface rougher than the smooth face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
