<p>The method involves storing performance data of a motor car (10) in a memory area (21) of an identity module i.e. subscriber identity module (SIM) card (20) through first and second interfaces (12, 22) of the SIM card, and reading out the stored performance data from the memory area through a third interface (23) and a fourth interface of the SIM card. Confirmation information relating to the storage of the performance data in the memory area or relating to the number of performance data in the memory area of ??the SIM card is read.
