PURPOSE: An electronic hydraulic brake device and a fault detecting method thereof are provided to detect faults in a pedal sensor after detecting the braking will of a driver by using a cut valve and detect the faults in pedal sensors. CONSTITUTION: A fault detecting method for a pedal sensor is as follows. The braking will of a driver according to the manipulation of a brake pedal is detected. Pressure control performance is detected after the braking will of a driver is detected. In case the pressure control is not performed in determined period, the fault of a pedal sensor is detected by using a cut valve. |
