<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building for refuge at low cost, superior in usability in a normal state, which is neither destroyed nor washed away in the case of a disaster such as a tsunami and a flood. <P>SOLUTION: A multistory building 1 for refuge including a plurality of columns 2 arranged along an outer periphery, a plurality of beams 3 each of which connects a pair of adjacent columns 2, and an outer wall 6 which is fixed in an area surrounded by a pair of adjacent columns 2 and a pair of upper and lower beams 3 is provided with separation means of separating the outer wall 6 from a fixation position thereof when predetermined external force F in a horizontal direction is applied to the outer wall 6. As the separation means, outer projections 7 for locking an outer surface of the outer wall 6 and inner projections 8 for locking an inner surface of the outer wall 6 are provided to the columns 2, and projections located on a downstream side of a tsunami flow among the outer projections 7 and the inner projections 8 can have the strength set to be destroyed with the predetermined external force F. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
