The invention provides an open and close means of a small-sized electronic device and a small-sized electronic device. When a second housing of the small-sized electronic device opens with respect to a first housing, the exposing amount of the upper surface of the first housing can be increased with the adoption of a linkage mechanism, thereby enlarging buttons or increasing the amount of buttons. The open and close means comprises first and second connecting rods, which are rotatably disposed at two sides of the rear end of the upper surface of the first housing, a slide plate which is disposed at the lower surface of the second housing, and is clamped with the free end sides of the first and the second connecting rods, and slides along the rotation of the first and the second connecting rods, and a slide force application unit, which is disposed at any or both of the first and the second connecting rods or between the slide plates and applies slide force from a regulated sliding position to an opening and a close direction. |
