<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball mold, capable of beautifully finishing the surface of a rice ball by preventing adhesion of rice. <P>SOLUTION: In the rice ball mold 100, wall surfaces 2 are formed on both long sides of the rectangular bottom of a body 1, and cavity portions 5 are formed on the outside of the wall surfaces 2. The inside surfaces of the wall surfaces 2 and bottom include release surfaces. The rice ball mold 100 includes a lid band one end of which can be attached to a hook 7 of the body 1. When a triangular rice ball is made, rice is packed between the wall surfaces 2 of the body 1, the lid band is placed thereon, and the rice is pressed from both sides by placing a force so as to press the wall surfaces 2 toward the inside by the fingers. When the lid band is pressed to the rice, the lid band is bent in a mountain shape at the bending portion, and the rice is shaped in the mountain shape accordingly and molded into the triangular rice ball.
