PURPOSE: A method and a system for converting chatting service modes on mobile communication terminals are provided to provide an application for smart terminals, thereby preventing communication services from being cut off. CONSTITUTION: A system for converting chatting service modes transmits an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) message for implementing chatting services including communication services between at least one transmitting terminal and at least one receiving terminal(S210).
