FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking. Log or billet of wood is used to make one hollow cylindrical article. Billet material inside made hollow cylindrical part, apart from cut off layer, serves for making second hollow cylindrical article. Then, material remaining inside second hollow cylindrical article serves to make third hollow cylindrical article and so unless minimum required diameter of hollow cylindrical article is made. Hollow cylindrical articles are produced at one installation at the machine due to cutting cylindrical surfaces by ring cutter of different standard sizes or by laser beam to definite depth.
