The heating device has a heating element (4110) for heating the preforms (3A), and a bottom reflector (4113) arranged relative to the heating element and set opposite to the reflector (4111) in a movable manner, for reflecting the emitted heat radiation from the heating element, in the direction of the preforms. An adjusting device sets the position of the bottom reflector relative to the counter reflector. A back reflector (4112) is arranged on the side of the heating element, for reflection of the stored thermal radiation back to the preforms. An independent claim is included for a heating method for blow molding machine.
