<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which has a small density difference with a background region, has several dots for width of a line region and alleviates interruption of a thin line with low density and improves reproducibility of the thin line, and to provide an image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 for forming an image consisting of dots of a recording material on a recording medium 116 includes: first halftone processing means for making inputted data into M-(M is integer of one or more) value; color separation processing means for separating colors into the colors of the recording material which the image forming apparatus 1 includes; second halftone processing means for making respective color material values calculated by color separation processing into N-(N is integer of one or more) value; and halftone processing combination selecting means for selecting combination of the two types of halftone processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
