<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing controller a valve timing controller which restricts disengagement and displacement of an inner end of a biasing member with simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 11 includes engage pins 24. A vane rotor 16 has an engage groove 167. A spring 26 is provided so that the inner peripheral end 261 is engaged with the engage groove 167 and an outer peripheral end 262 is engaged with the engage pins 24. A vane rotor 16 is biased in an advancing angle direction to the housing 11. When the innermost imaginary circle passing through a core of a raw wire 260 is C1, the outermost imaginary circle is C2, the center of C1 is O1, the center of C2 is O2, the contact point of the inner peripheral end 261 and the engage groove 167 is p0, and the imaginary straight line passing O1 and p0 is L, the spring 26 has the inner peripheral end 261 and the outer peripheral end 262 engaged with the engage groove 167 and the engage pins 24, in such a manner that O2 is apart from both O1 and P0 along L, whereby C2 is eccentric to C1 by a specified amount d1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
