<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lithium tetrafluoroborate solution for a lithium battery electrolyte solution reduced in the contents of acidic impurities and moisture. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a lithium tetrafluoroborate solution includes a reaction step of reacting lithium fluoride and boron trifluoride in a linear carbonate ester as a solvent to produce lithium tetrafluoroborate to thereby obtain a reaction solution in which lithium tetrafluoroborate is dissolved in the solvent, a moisture removal step of adding a moisture remover to the reaction solution, an acidic impurity removal step of concentrating the reaction solution after the moisture removal step to thereby remove acidic impurities, and a dilution step of diluting the concentrate solution after the acidic impurity removal step, wherein the concentration of the acidic impurities in the obtained solution is ≤50 mass ppm; and the concentration of moisture is ≤15 mass ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
