<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input system that responds rearrangement and replacement of sequence of displays and can display a multiple image. <P>SOLUTION: An input system 1 comprises: a plurality of display devices 4 and 5; positional information pattern layers 6 and 7 that include positional information patterns 10 representing coordinate positions on individual display surfaces 4a and 5a of the plurality of display devices 4 and 5; and a positional information input section 3 that acquires distinguishable information for distinguishing between types of the display devices 4 and 5 and the coordinate positions by optically reading the positional information patterns 10 of the positional information pattern layers 6 and 7 and inputs information related to a handwritten script to the display surfaces 4a and 5a of the display devices 4 and 5.
