SEALING MATERIAL FOR BIPOLAR BATTERY, AND NONAQUEOUS BIPOLAR BATTERY MANUFACTURED USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a sealing material for a bipolar battery including a nonaqueous electrolyte in a nonaqueous electrolyte layer, which prevents liquid junction (short circuit) caused by oozing out of an electrolyte from a seal portion and is excellent in sealability; and a highly reliable bipolar electrode formed using the sealing material.

SOLUTION: The sealing material for a bipolar battery contains a modified polyolefin resin obtained by graft modification using a monomer constituent containing a compound which includes an ethylenic double bond and an epoxy group in a same molecule.
