<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress delay in message transfer by reducing the hop number in transfer of a P2P type message. <P>SOLUTION: The message transfer system comprises: a flow switch; a plurality of message transfer nodes each of which has a path table and transfers a message from a transfer source to a transfer destination by transferring the message by each of the message transfer nodes via the flow switch according to the path table; and a control device having a path management part which manages a path entry in which at least the message transfer nodes of the transfer source and the transfer destination are designated. The message transfer node registers a new path entry in the control device at the time of transfer of the message in accordance with the path table. The control device controls the message transfer nodes and the flow switch so as to transfer the message at a second transfer path having a fewer hop numbers than the message transfer path in accordance with the path table for the message to be transferred to the transfer destination from the transfer source registered in the path entry. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
