Plaster used for floors or door frames is formed from an aq. dispersion of a synthetic resin which sets to a transparent solid, the dispersion being treated with a filler which prior to setting of the synthetic resin is swelled, partially dissolved or softened and impregnated by the resin such that the filler is hardened by the resin.
