<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood-based composite material having satisfactory mechanical strength. <P>SOLUTION: The wood-based composite material (M) is formed from a wood-based filler (A) which is surface-treated with a surface treating agent (C) being an aqueous emulsifier obtained by emulsifying an acid-modified polyolefin resin or the salt (K) thereof, and a thermoplastic resin (B). A method for producing the wood-based composite material (M) comprises: immersing an original wood-based filler (A0) in surface treating agent (C)-containing water; drying the immersed wood-based filler to obtain the surface-treated wood-based filler (A); kneading the surface-treated wood-based filler (A) with the thermoplastic resin (B) to obtain a kneaded material; and molding the kneaded material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
