<p>Provided is a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire (2) of excellent uniformity and durability. This method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire (2) is carried out using a former provided with a drum, a first head, and a second head. The manufacturing method comprises: a step for delivering a first ribbon including a first cord from the first head, layering the distal end of the first ribbon on a belt (12) on the axially inward side from the first end (36a) of the belt (12), delivering a second ribbon including a second cord from the second head, and layering the distal end of the second ribbon on the belt (12) on the axially inward side from the second end (36b) of the belt (12); a step for winding the first ribbon in the peripheral direction on the first end (36a) of the belt (12), and winding the second ribbon in the peripheral direction on the second end (36b) of the belt (12); and a step for winding the first ribbon and the second ribbon in intersecting fashion in positions that correspond to the equatorial plane of the tire (2).</p> |
