<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an optical film which has a reduced impurity content and is excellent in appearance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the optical film, an acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature of 110-200°C and a viscosity of 250-1,000 Pa s at 270°C at a shear rate of 100 (l/s) is molded into a film by using an extruder 100 equipped with a T die 14.
