The universal joint yoke has a bridge element connecting two yoke arm sections formed in one piece with a base section. The bridge element has locating faces corresponding to the end faces (13) of the arm sections, and through-holes corresponding to threaded holes (19-21) in the end faces of the arm sections. Screws serve to fasten the bridge element to the arm sections and fit through the threaded holes and through-holes. The end faces of the arm sections and locating faces of the bridge elements have a toothed profile. An Independent claim is included for a universal joint with a first and second joint yoke.
