PURPOSE: An impedance matching device and a method thereof are provided to prevent the decreasing of impedance matching efficiency caused by insertion loss at a matching part by avoiding impedance matching at a specific frequency band. CONSTITUTION: An RF(Radio Frequency) front-end part(200) selectively bypasses multi-band RF signals. An RF power detection part(300) measures output power and reflected power for the RF signals. A matching part(700) changes a variable element to minimize the reflected power. A first switch part(800) is located at the RF front-end part and selectively switches to a bypass route for the RF signals to pass. A second switch part(900) selectively switches between the bypass route and the matching part for the RF signals to pass. An operation control part(500) checks the frequency band being used. The operation control part provides control signals to send the RF signals to the bypass route. |
