<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency by reducing mechanical friction loss of a thrust slide surface supporting a thrust load acting on a crankshaft, and to improve reliability. <P>SOLUTION: This hermetic compressor includes a compression element and an electric element stored in a closed vessel, and is structured such that the compression element is driven by the electric element through a crankshaft, the lower end of the crankshaft is immersed in lubrication oil stored in the closed vessel, and the lubrication oil is supplied to the crankshaft and a slide part of the compression element by an oil pump arranged at the lower end of the crankshaft. The hermetic compressor includes a bearing part 5c for supporting a thrust load acting on the crankshaft, wherein the bearing part includes a bearing thrust surface 5ca for supporting a thrust load acting on the crankshaft, a dynamic pressure groove 14 for generating oil film pressure in the lubrication oil flowing to a space of the thrust slide surface by rotation of the crankshaft is formed on the bearing thrust surface, and the dynamic pressure groove penetrates from the inner side of the bearing thrust surface to the outer side thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
