<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin which contains an ascorbyl 2-phosphate-6-higher fatty acid salt and is excellent in preparation stability; and a production method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin includes an ascorbyl 2-phosphate-6-higher fatty acid salt and a nonionic surfactant (1) represented by formula (1): HO-(CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O)<SB POS="POST">a</SB>-(R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>O)<SB POS="POST">b</SB>-(CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O)<SB POS="POST">c</SB>-H, wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents -CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>CH(CH<SB POS="POST">3</SB>)- or -CH(CH<SB POS="POST">3</SB>)CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-; and (a), (b) and (c) are each a positive integer; and wherein the average value of a+c is 4 to 400, and the average value of b is 5 to 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
