<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering apparatus capable of reducing the amount of a residual liquid even when a plurality of filtration units are used, and a filtering method. <P>SOLUTION: The filtering apparatus includes a plurality of filtering units 1-3 to filter a stock solution, filtrate discharging passages 31-33 that are connected to the filtering units 1-3 and discharge filtrate, residual liquid recovering passages 51-53 that are connected to the filtering units 1-3 and recover residual liquids left in the filtering units 1-3, and passage changing mechanisms 54-56 that switch flow states of the residual liquid recovering passages 51-53. When the stock solution is simultaneously filtered in the filtering units 1-3, the passage changing mechanism 54 switches the residual liquid recovering passage 51 to the open state and thus the residual liquid recovered through the residual liquid recovering passage 51 is filtered in the other filtering unit 2 and filtering unit 3 than the filtering unit 1 from which the residual liquid is recovered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
