LAMINATE BEFORE FOAMING FOR FOAMED WALLPAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed wallpaper which is obtained by extruding a resin composition containing an ethylene copolymer and calcium carbonate to form a foaming agent-containing resin layer, in which sufficient melt tension can be obtained without being irradiated with an electron beam prior to a foaming step, and foaming the foaming agent-containing resin layer to form excellent foaming condition.

SOLUTION: A laminate before foaming for a foamed wallpaper has at least the foaming agent-containing resin layer formed on a paper substrate. (1)The foaming agent-containing resin layer is formed by an extrusion film-forming process and (2) the foaming agent-containing resin layer contains the ethylene copolymer having a MFR of 20-45 g/10 min as a resin component and also 10-100 pts.wt of calcium carbonate that are surface-treated with fatty acid and have an average particle diameter of 2-10 μm based on 100 pts.wt of the resin component.
