The present invention provides an apparatus for supporting a telescopic boom for mounting a crane to construction a pillar of a tower shaped structure and a method for constructing the pillar. For the telescopic boom for mounting the crane to construct high-rise tower shaped structure such as pillar and tower frame, through successively supporting the telescopic boom on stacked pillar components, the telescopic boom can be used for stably constructing higher pillars. A pillar receiving base is equipped on a mounting base through a free advancing/retreating mode. The mounting base is fixed on each boom of the telescopic boom and is provided with a pair of holding arms. The holding arms hold the pillar components between a holding position on the pillar receiving base and a releasing position through a swingable mode. A roller chain is configured at inside part of the holding arms through a mode that the diameter of the roller chain can be reduced and the roller chain can be connected with the holding arms. The pillar receiving base advances and pushes the pillar component. The holding arms hold the pillar component. When a chain opening/closing cylinder operates and the roller chain is pulled for reducing the diameter, the roller chain fastens the pillar components for supporting the booms on the pillar component. |
