<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layered lithium nickel manganese complex oxide, an anode material for a lithium secondary battery using the same, and a lithium secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The layered lithium nickel manganese complex oxide forms a rhombohedral crystal and is expressed by the general formula (I): Li<SB POS="POST">X</SB>Ni<SB POS="POST">Y</SB>Mn<SB POS="POST">Z</SB>Q<SB POS="POST">(1-Y-Z)</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. In the general formula (I), X represents a number in a range of 0<X≤1.2, Y and Z meet the relations: 0.9≤Y/Z≤1.2 and 0<(1-Y-Z)≤0.25, and Q is at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Al, Co, Fe, Mg and Ca. The layered lithium nickel manganese complex oxide has nickel and manganese sites partially substituted with another substituent element Q, and takes a spherical form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
