摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue a charging operation until reaching a full charged state while protecting an apparatus and preventing deterioration of charging efficiency, even when a power supply voltage fluctuates, to ensure a drivable distance using power in a power storage device, in a vehicle capable of being recharged from outside. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle 100 can convert electric power from an external power source 500 and recharge an on-board power storage device 110 using a charger 200. The charger 200 includes a power factor correction (PFC) circuit 210 with switching elements. The PFC circuit 210 converts AC power from the external power source 500 into DC power and corrects a power factor. An electronic control unit (ECU) 300 changes a control frequency of the switching elements in the PFC circuit 210 according to a fluctuation range of an input voltage from the external power source 500, thereby preventing occurrence of an overcurrent state in the charger 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
