The assembly (1) has a covering device e.g. road porthole, with a frame (4) delimiting a rectangular or square access opening and a covering element (6) e.g. stop, covering the opening. A controlling device (20) is connected to the element and permits guiding displacement of the element with respect the frame between closed and intermediate positions. The element is partially situated in the opening, and covers the opening in the closed position. The element is entirely outside the opening and moved to the closed position according to a central opening axis (X-X) in the intermediate position. |
