PURPOSE: A gas insulated switchgear is provided to shield the surrounding driving contact that is to be separated, thereby reducing the intensity of the electrical field occurring on the cap when opening and closing the breaker. CONSTITUTION: A gas insulted switchgear is as follows. A fixed contact unit(310) comprises a fixed arc contact member(311) and a fixed main contact member(312). A movable arc contact member(321) accommodates a fixed arc contact member. A main nozzle(322) surrounds a movable arc contact member. A movable main contact member(323) is combined on the outside of the main nozzle. A pupper cylinder(324) is combined to a common movable arc contact member, main nozzle, and a movable main contact member. A movable side shield(325) surrounds a movable main contact member. A movable contact unit(320) comprises a plate spring member(326) and the plate spring member is contacted to a fixed contact unit.
